Okay, now this blog is getting as many comments as Tom Nelson's blog. So Ivory-Bills Live!!! won the longevity battle but both sites are ultimately the victims of people wanting to rant more than discuss.
Hoping that CT is around long enough to start a website for the next species to go extinct.
yeah, I've been surprised at the degree to which requiring ID stifles comments, but maybe trolls really are the main stimulus for comments on a lot of blogs!
Anyway, I expect this blog to be around for a good long while... and am a bit confused by your phrase "the next(???) species to go extinct."
Well, CT, the good news about this site being ignored is that it is probably not against the law to yell "Fire!!" in an empty theater.
And as to your confusion mentioned above - the entire IBWO "debate" has been about whether a species is extinct when it stops being seen or when the last person gives up hope for its existence. If you and I could resolve that confusion we would both have to go back to our real lives.
