Just saw a quick piece about the Reiser brothers starting on their new project "Anglers," a planned series on the active fishing subculture (similar to their hugely popular "Listers" treatment of the birding subculture). But what I take that to mean is that their filming on a much-anticipated take on the Ivory-billed Woodpecker story is likely done and they are in the editing, final-production stage (and maybe far along!) -- I think their original target release date for that was around the end of June, which seemed a bit ambitious, but hey, keep your eyes peeled (...or, if someone knows more specifics, let us know).
ADDENDUM 8/1/26: Here we are on Aug. 1 and still seen no reports on their IBWO endeavor (end of May, June, July, had all been possible release dates). I think the film was only planned to be about half as long as their full-length "Listers" hit.... but now am wondering if they're having difficulty piecing together enough interesting/entertaining footage to fill even that???
